Hello Robert, can you tell us a little about yourself and your role at Devoteam?
Sure, I am a Senior Consultant working in the area of back-end developments as a Solutions Architect with a focus on container technologies and cloud environments. I’ve been with Devoteam for about five and a half years, which is my first employer right after graduation.
Can you tell us about some of the projects you’ve worked on at Devoteam?
I’ve had many projects so far, all in the automotive industry and yet they’ve all been so diverse as each time we’ve used new technologies. I think the most fun was my current project where we migrated applications towards AWS. I’ve been involved with AWS for a year, relatively intense, so I took the certification this year.
How do you feel about the growth opportunities at Devoteam?
By developing all the skills, the responsibilities also grow. That is actually the reason why I like working at Devoteam.
What do you find great about working for Devoteam?
I like working from home. I like being with my family and I get to see my child growing up. I’ve never really been that much of a city person. So when I walk out of my house, I’m right in the woods, there’s a big lake 5 minutes away. I’m free to arrange my working hours the way I want. I’m really happy at Devoteam and that’s why a change of employer hasn’t come into question for me yet. It really is the truth.
