Devoteam has released its Sustainability report, highlighting its commitment to responsible technology for a better future. The Tech for People vision guides our efforts to create a sustainable future by promoting ethical, environmental, and social responsibility across our business operations. Our CSR strategy, called VEEP, encompasses four main dimensions: Value, Environment, Ethics, and People.
The report shares our accomplishments and efforts in different regions, which include assisting NGOs and social entrepreneurs with technology advice and skills, increasing awareness about sustainability through live events and training, collaborating with our partners to innovate through hackathons, and motivating our internal clubs to inspire towards positive change.
Devoteam’s achievements include supporting over 40 NGOs with pro bono work, and 300+ tech experts across 14 countries working tirelessly to innovate and create better change. In 2022 Devoteamers offered 1300 days of Pro Bono work, and the Devoteam Foundation donated 300K€.
As an organization, we follow the rules of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations Global Compact, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to demonstrate our commitment to sustainability. We have also joined the Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi) to have our reduction scenarios scientifically approved,
Looking ahead, Devoteam has ambitious goals for 2023, focused on reinforcing sustainable offerings, pursuing climate strategy by cutting emissions in line with the SBTi’s recommendations, and getting everyone involved in sustainable strategy.
